Services
Ashburton Dental Centre was established in 2015. Dentist Dr Kav Bhinder and his team are pleased to offer affordable dentistry at our modern, beautifully designed clinic. You'll find us in the Ashburton Village Shopping Centre. With a great community spirit in our area, we're proud to serve the residents of the surrounding neighbourhoods.

With much of Dr Kav's family in the healthcare field, he knew early on that he would join the profession. He first attended BFUHS (Punjab) to earn a graduate dental degree. In 2017, he completed a master's degree at Curtin University in Perth. Currently, he is undertaking a mini-residency in endodontics (root canal therapy) in Sydney.
For Dr Stephanie, the most fulfilling aspects of being a dentist are improving her patients' oral health and relieving their pain, as well as providing a positive first dental experience for children. To prepare for her career in dentistry, Dr Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Science (UWA) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (University of Melbourne).

By far the best dental experience I have ever had!! DR Kav was very professional, attentive, patient and kind. He explained the process, before and during and discussed future options once finished. Front of house was also polite and friendly, making you immediately feel at ease. I would highly recommend Ashburton Dental Centre for anyone looking for a great dentist! I will be back!!

It mightn't look like much, but this is the best dentist I've ever been to! Dr Kav is great - straight forward explanations, doesn't push you into expensive options, and brilliant pain control! In the past I've needed 2 or even 3 local injections to stop the pain - Dr Kav gave just 1 and I didn't feel anything the whole way through!

I desperately needed dentures and I am on pension. A cloud hangs over the people who are on pension and the providers of dental services in Budget. There are no words to describe how WONDERFUL my experience with Ashburton Dental centre is with Dr. Kav and his staff! Greeted with respect, dignity and a deep desire to provide the best possible care for his patients and their many, diverse needs. Fitting dentures to an individual is quite a daunting challenge to say the least. Patience, persistents and perseverance is what it takes with each individual and Dr. Kav and his staff come through with flying

First impressions are fantastic, I felt very welcomed. Very clean and tidy surgery. Dr Kav was gentle and caring. I needed an emergency appointment on Sunday. I was a highly stressful but Dr Kav put me at ease. He explained things thoroughly, numbed me up (I didn’t feel a thing), also I got a great rebate so it didn’t cost much at all. Highly recommend Dr Kav at Ashburton Dental.

Have seen Dr Kav a number of times now and have always found him to be kind, courteous and gentle. Would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone, especially those who suffer from "dentist phobia" his reassurance whilst working on your dental issues is so calming and makes you feel quite at ease. In my time of toothache crisis, I was very fortunate to have discovered this great Ashburton dental clinic. With Very welcoming reception staff I immediately felt at ease from the usual anxiety associated with pre dental treatment. Dr Kev is an extremely professional , informative, cheerful and friendly dentist. I was Thoroughly informed of all options of treatments and associated costs and able to make my decision with confidence . The treatment itself was perfect , I had my tooth treatment without pain or discomfort and was given thorough information of post treatment care . I am happy to review

I have had an abscess for the last year that I couldn’t afford to get fixed. When I came across these guys I thought you needed insurance or there was some sort of catch. I went in for a visit and was blown away. $120 covers EVERYTHING. I had a very nice dentist who fixed my tooth and the online bookings are so easy to use. Thanks Ashburton Team

It was an excellent experience as Doctor Kav explained the condition of my teeth, discussed the options and gave his best professional advise. Ashburton Dental Centre deserves more than just five stars!! A clean and modern dentistry. From the moment you walk in, you are instantly given a warm welcome and best of all they don't keep you waiting.
Dr Kath was friendly and very thorough and took the time to explain to me the process during my appointment and the personal after care I should practice. It was one of the most gentle clean I have had.
It was also very refreshing to not have a Dr. rush through an appointment and actually bothers to go through every detail, making sure you walk out feeling confident.
