Bowsers' service offering covers every phase of asset delivery and life cycle for various sectors. Our service covers both installation of passive fire protection systems as well providing a consulting service to builders, sub-contractors, building owners and Councils for assets in the building, infrastructure and industrial sectors.
Bowsers specialises in the fire sealing of services that penetrate fire rated elements. These include hydraulic and electrical services. Risk occurs when these services pass through the fire rated elements without adequate fire protection, potentially exposing the building to the spread of fire between fire compartments.
Bowsers specialises in the application of fire spray to structural steel and ductwork. Fire spray is a mineral based, industrial coating that is applied by specialist applicators and equipment. It is designed to insulate the steel or ductwork to prevent it from yielding (softening) under the extreme heat conditions of a fire.
Bowsers is a specialist applicator of intumescent coatings. Intumescent coatings for structural steel are a long lasting method of providing fire rating, giving a finish that can be integrated into the architectural fabric of a building. Bowsers provides certification for the application of intumescent coating products with fire ratings from 30 to 120 mins.
Lightweight construction is used to describe the application of fire spray or the construction of fire rated bulkheads and enclosures. It can also be used to describe fire rated walls and ceilings constructed from plasterboard or similar materials. Bowsers uses fire rated boards specially designed for use in lightweight construction applications.

Bowsers employees (Glenn Sampson and Bernadette Portelli) took part in the strata dispute, refused to share information on the requested quote and did not return the calls or emails. I represent a group of owners from our strata plan delegated to get alternative quotes on the Fire Order tender to verify suspiciously high quotes obtained by our Strata Committee Secretary elsewhere. I contacted Bowsers and sent them the Fire Order tender document on 4 Apr 2020. It turned out that our Secretary contacted them as well on 7 Apr 2020 (after me). I was chasing Bowsers employees including Glenn and Bernadette
