Services
At East City Chiropractic in Adelaide, our chiropractic care provides a non invasive, safe and natural approach to your health care. Chiropractic is the third largest primary health care profession in the Western world. Chiropractors specialise in the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of mechanical disorders of the spine and musculoskeletal system.
On your initial visit to our chiropractic clinic in Rose Park, we take a thorough history and conduct a comprehensive physical and chiropractic examination. We will discuss your health concerns and treatment focus. We take the time to ensure you have a thorough understanding of your condition.

To help prevent recurrences, importance is placed on establishing any negative postural habits contributing to your problem and rebalancing and strengthening your body or injury. We want to work out what is going on and how both of us as a team, can help you get and stay well. The initial consultation usually lasts between 45 minutes - 1 hour (depending on the complexity of your case).
Chiropractic treatment at our clinic on Kensington Road is covered by private health insurance, Veterans Affairs, Motor Vehicle Accident Scheme, Workcover and the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Plan. You don't need a general practitioner's referral to make an appointment - except for Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and Enhanced Primary Care Plan patients, where direct billing to Medicare occurs.
Recovery time depends upon several factors, such as the duration and intensity of your condition, the nature of your particular problem, your age and general constitution, your lifestyle and commitment to getting well again.

The effects of the treatment are cumulative so compliance with a suggested treatment schedule will maximise your chances of improvement and staying well - like a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the one/s before. Most patients however notice a significant improvement within a few treatments.

Annette is such a wonderful compassionate person with amazing skills who has helped me through various issues. I try to visit regularly for maintenance but she has also treated me with Bowen therapy & dry needling which worked well for my back pain.

Annette Scurrah is amazing. She's a gentle Chiropractor who has helped me immensely on several occasions now. I've got a long history of injuries so Annette has helped me through alot of issues and is always sympathetic and accommodating in times when urgent treatment or advice is needed.
