Our certifier will arrange all documents required for the application including the final inspection. A copy is sent to the owner, the council and the construction company from our certifier for record keeping. A deposit is 10% of the contract price and all council fees including the QBCC home warrant insurance one off fee.

I would not recommend D&C Patios to anyone. They have been a headache to deal with from start to finish.
The patio was not built as per contract drawing, the patio is on an angle (where it shouldn’t) damage was done to pre-existing structures during install, site left dirty etc.
As soon as we started to report issues Glenn has chosen to inspect them when he knew that only my wife would be home. He has proceeded to be very condescending towards her on these occasions addressing her like a child, she’s an engineer but that shouldn’t matter.
The issues were never fixed and we were forced

We recently had our old patio removed and replaced with an insulated new patio by D. & C Patios. The team turned up on time and consistently worked hard on the job. We were happy with the work and effort that they put into it and they were very co-operative with anything that we needed corrected or fixed.
We were impressed with the service, how the office communicated with us and kept us informed through the process, the work ethic and attitude of the team. During installation, we observed how they were put under a lot of pressure to meet deadlines and missed some details however they were glad

First.. I would like to say my patio is great and has been built well. D&C's product is excellent.
Second.. The service is deplorable.
Administrative delays in lodging the plan application with council.
Administrative delays in letting me know that the council had approved the plans. I rang D&C in the end after ringing the council myself and finding out that the plans had been approved.
Administrative delays in setting an installation date.
With each delay my patio took from the promised 4 weeks to a total of 10 weeks and it probably would have been longer if I hadn't called them at each stage
