His experience prior to the formation of the practice included graduate role in small practices, as a Senior Architect working on pharmaceutical production plants, and then working as a Project Architect overseeing the construction of commercial and apartment buildings. A breadth of experience in all facets of the design and construction process has provided the basis of running a successful Architectural Practice for 20 years.
He still retains a strong passion for the design process, and enjoys the challenge of every new project as if it were his first commissions.

We offer the full scope of Architectural services for the successful completion of projects. We are fully committed to maintaining an ongoing involvement through to final completion. All electronic data is compatible with most other CAD systems within the industry. Staff receive ongoing training in the use of state-of-the-art CAD systems and other relevant software.
All Architects have clearly defined stages for their scope of services, but the scope may vary between practices, depending on the nature of their work. Our initial consultation involves a detailed discussion with the client to enable us to develop the design brief, and to determine the appropriate scope of services.
The practice of Michael Angus Architecture has had considerable experience in all types of housing projects, spanning nearly 30 years. Approximately one third of all our projects comprise multi-unit housing, either as site-specific developments of two or more dwellings, or generic single dwelling modules which can be combined in a repetitive format to suit a single parcel of land, or as part of a larger subdivision of varying site dimensions.
These projects usually involve a specific programme and design standards to fulfil specific government policies, or are part of a general rollout which may require a consistent design approach across a number of sites. Our practice has had nearly 15 years' experience in designing new and refurbished fire stations for the FRV (Formerly MFB and CFA).

Report
Have nothing but good things to say about Michael Angus both as a person & a brilliant architect. have used him when he was first working from home then @ little Flinders Street melbourne cbd he came highly recommended by Philip borelli sjb planning. As both of these people worked on our project 2 double storey townhouses in Richmond due to a lot of issues both from the B.? st. Residence action group & also the city of Yarra. Just short of 5 years & many VCAT & Court cases later. Michael & Philip came on board a little over halfway through to save the day many thanks to both. Only words of advice
