Damian, the owner of Mawson's Restorations, has a lengthy reputation in the industry for personalized work. Starting his career over 40 years ago working in solid timber furniture manufacturing, shop fittings, period furniture manufacturing, and marine fitouts, Damian decided to start his own business focusing on antique and modern furniture restorations.
With a intense attention to detail coupled with a vast knowledge of period trends and a unique understanding of timbers, Damian has cultivated a great pride in his work. Services
Mawson's Restorations are specialists in Furniture repair and Restoration. Our staff consists of 2 Qualified Tradesmen, Damian (Cabinetmaker) and Wayne (French Polisher). Both Damian and Wayne have an Apprentice each to assist them - Jedd and Keelan. Kara is our Office Manager who schedules the jobs.

I would like to thank Damian and his team for restoring 2 pieces of furniture for me as they turned out fantastic, and exceeded my expectations. I am very happy with the finish and the look of them. Thanks Damian for giving our 37 year old dark timber furniture a complete new look. Your work has created a stunning natural white look giving our living area comprising table with 8 chairs, tall buffet and TV cabinet, a fresh vibrant french style.
Your craftsmanship is superb.
