As the availability of the resource rapidly diminishes, so the demands for "value adding" increase in intensity.
While Middlesex Mill produces, cut to order, green and dry sawn timber in each of the four species, we seek to ensure that from feature to premium grade the aim is to maximize the recovery of our product and finding a value for any waste.

Our family run business has been servicing Western Australia's timber needs with an exceptional line of bespoke timber products for over 30 years. The mighty Jarrah is one of the most commonly known trees which grow in Western Australia. Some of the larger trees have grown up to 50 metres in height with a 3 metre trunk diameter, judged to be 500 years old. The long, straight, branch free bole, durability in wet and weathered conditions and resistance to termites made it the first choice for construction timbers such as bridges and house frames.
We have one of the largest horizontal Band Saws in Australia, making us capable of milling slabs up to 2m in width. We can process logs with acute specifications losing only 2mm with every cut, a precision not available at many other mills. Slabbing can be done up to 20m in length and any thickness.
