Our 10 year warranty warranty covers defects in material and workmanship in the following components of the wardrobes: Frames Doors Hinges Sliding door mechanism Drawer gliders Clothes rails Shelves. This warranty applies to domestic use only. The product has been installed in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards and Modern Design Wardrobes recommendations.
Built in wardrobes form 80% of our business. That is the reason why we have a wide range of designs and door types to suit everyone's individual needs. We use top quality Austrlalian made 16mm white melamine for our interiors, which add durability and strength.

Today at 7:00pm AEDT (14/12/21) I drove behind a Modern Design Wardrobes vehicle, couldn’t keep within his lane, almost caused an accident through a roundabout. I’d say if you hire this guy make sure he doesn’t stop at the pub on his way to your place.
I’d say his work looks good (based on the photos) but his respect for other drives lives is terrible.

We had awful experience with them. They overpromised and underdelivered. Very poor quality, not practical and installation was not according to the design. Staff extremely rude (aggressive) when we complained. The wardrobes were for our residential property but when we complained, Lida, the manager posted a negative review as a revenge on our business website (completely not related). I would be very cautious with them.

Professional and efficient through from the first phone call to install. Quoting process was thorough and we were given great advice to configuring . Installer Rami proved to be a master tradesman and worked for 12 hours cutting a difficult understand wardrobe, replacing cabinetry on another and refitting 2 existing wardrobes. The finishes are high quality finishes and we couldn’t recommend more highly .

Just had some drawers and shelves installed in a wardrobe by Modern Design Wardrobes. Excellent communications, they call when they say they will call, they respond to emails quickly. From measure and quote to installation it was 14 days (!!!) - they wanted to install even earlier but I wasn't available. A small hiccup on the day of installation about the time of installation but not a big deal at all. It was installed in just over two hours without any issue. I had two other quotes that were $200-$300 more and were going to take longer. Very happy, will use them again!

I have used Modern Design Wardrobes several times. They are a very professional company and provide quality products at an affordable price. I'm very impressed with the customer service, in particular Raafat who did the measure and quote. He is efficient, timely and always courteous and polite. Built custom cabinetry and wardrobes throughout the house with Modern Designs and they were very professional and easy to work with. The quality of the job was fantastic and they were reasonably priced as well. The best part was their customer service, right from the first meeting with the Sales consultant till the job was complete. Truly professional company to work with and recommend them highly!

One line summary: my built-ins are defective but the installer's repair solutions are unsatisfactory and the company will not back repairs or provide a refund, although they are legally obligated to do so under the consumer guarantee.
Here goes my saga: my custom built-ins were installed on 15/03/21. Upon installation, I found that the rails and doors were completely out of level (photos attached) and the "solution" that was given to me was "alternate the doors (mirror, glass, mirror, glass) so you can't see the gap. Big shout out to everyone at Modern Design Wardrobes. From the beginning Fay was a delight to deal with in the office, Sandeep and the gents who designed, measured, delivered and then installed were so friendly and professional. I was particularly grateful for the ideas and suggestions made to overcome some of our space limitations. Working with them allowed me to turn my vision into a reality all for very competitive price. Cannot recommend these guys enough!
