Hi, I'm Pauline Sabin, owner and Creative Director of Word Dynamics. I'm passionate about making words matter and can help you create a strong story for your business. Business planning is your map of the future, it supports growth and helps you to secure funding. For many business owners and executives though, day to day operations keep you so busy that it's hard to find the time to get your thoughts down on paper so you have the documentation you need to ensure the business is on the right course, and that your staff and stakeholders understand the clarity of your vision.
Your Strategic Plan (or Business Plan) is the blueprint for your business. It sets out your vision, values, goals and objectives and details the strategies that will get you to where you want to be over the next 1 - 5 years. Done correctly, your Strategic Plan focusses the energy, resources and time of the people in your business, and ensures everyone is pulling in the same direction.
You've got your brilliant idea and everything's lined up ready for an investor to jump on board and back your strategy. But how do you attract the attention of an investor? How do you distill all your plans into a simple one page document that covers the main points you want to get across so you can start having a real discussion with your potential investor?
It might be a difficult pill to swallow but the sad reality for many businesses is that their brand strategy isn't really a strategy at all. And if you don't know what your brand strategy is, how can you make sure that all of your actions reinforce it?

If you're lurching from one piece of business to the next without knowing what it is that your brand stands for then you're probably going to leave an impression - but maybe not the one that you want.Want to know more?
