Conveyancing is the process of transferring the legal title of property from one party to another. It usually involves the buying and selling of real estate with a loan agreement and mortgage also forming part of the process. These are some of the biggest decisions an individual makes in life, so it is important to be guided by professionals who are experienced not only in conveyancing, but in all aspects of property law.
Australia has an aging population, and our clients are increasingly seeking advice and assistance to safeguard their interests, protect their assets and ensure that their wishes will be carried out into the future. A valid Will appoints a trusted executor to handle your legal affairs when you die and directs how your assets should be distributed.
Whether you are dealing with a simple traffic infringement, facing a drink driving charge, attending the District Court on trial for a serious indictable offence, or appealing the severity of your sentence before the Court of Appeal, we can help you. We regularly deal with criminal and police matters, and our principal has a wealth of experience working as a legal officer for the NSW Police Force and on several Royal Commissions.
When family disputes or relationship breakdowns occur, it is wise to talk to someone who can advise and guide you through the various processes and legal effects of separation. In Australia, you can apply for a divorce if your marriage has broken down 'irretrievably'.

Generally, you must have been separated for at least 12 months and, where there are children under the age of 18 years involved, you will need to show the court that proper arrangements have been put in place for their care. The court recognises that there may be reasons why couples choose to live under the same roof, despite their decision to separate.
