How does it work, the start is triggered by the operator or start device fixed to the starting gun. Beams are then hit by the athlete which triggers the computer and records time and place. Athletes then must remain in their lanes at cones which are placed on the track A print out is given to the track officials who in most cases then record the names of athletes say first 4 on the sheet.
