Peter Glass & Associates (PGA) was established in 1983 by Peter Glass, a graduate in Landscape Architecture from the University of NSW. Since then the company has expanded and developed to become not only one of Australia's longest established landscape architectural practices but also one of the most experienced practices in the specialist area of residential landscape architecture and swimming pool design.
Since our establishment we have served numerous public, private and corporate clients, both in Australia and overseas, and have established an enviable track record of completed projects. As Managing Director and Principal Landscape Architect at PGA, Peter Glass likes to 'lead from the front'. As a result he has a very hands-on role in terms of project design, quality control, construction inspections and the everyday management of the practice.

Unfortunately however, the complexity of the legislation and the confusion over 'hierarchy', together with the frequent number of modifications of late, makes it highly unlikely that you will readily locate someone who is completely familiar with all of the relevant rules and regulations.
It further notes that the drowning of children aged 0-4 (being the most vulnerable group) has reduced over the last 12 months by 34% on the five year average, whilst there has been a 75% increase in bathtub/spa bath drownings in the same age group over the same period.Currently there is no Australia-wide pool fencing law, with many components differing widely between the various states and territories.

Peter Glass designed a garden for us. We had a very tight budget. He came up with a design that would cost five times this amount to construct. When I expressed my disappointment and dissatisfaction, he threatened legal action unless I paid his bill without question. Check his contract before you sign it, and check his credentials. And go somewhere else.
