A. Marble does have the potential to burn, so hot pots, pans and electric frying pans should not be set directly on Marble bench tops. The use of a hot pad, trivets, chopping boards or similar is advised to protect the Marble surface. A. Granite is formed by extreme heat and pressure combined beneath the earths crust.
