Services
Big Red Packaging was founded in early 2006, by a then 17 year old Eamon Sheedy. Eamon commenced trading as a home based business after realising a lack of packaging materials suppliers servicing the online market. From humble beginnings operating out of a spare bedroom, the business has since grown significantly, and now occupies several warehouses accross Sydney, including one in Seven Hills where day to day operations are conducted.
A: Yes, you are welcome to collect your order from us in person, or organise your own courier to pick up from our warehouse. However, please be sure to email or phone us prior to arriving, so we can make sure your order is ready. Our pick-up warehouse is located at Unit 30, 20 Tucks Rd, Seven Hills NSW 2147.
Courier bags as they have come to be known are also commonly referred to as courier satchels and plastic envelopes. Although calling them plastic envelopes is not as well-known as others it is perhaps the more apt term. They are essentially a plastic envelope, with an opening on one end to insert the intended contents, which then folds over to seal the plastic envelope permanently.
Call us for any special bubble wrap requirements Bubble wrap is one of the most useful packaging products. It can be used to wrap fragile or delicate items for postage or storage or even just to keep the kids occupied popping it! Bubblewrap is your go-to when it comes to packaging delicate items that can break in transit.
Most commonly used to wrap around pallets of goods to keep them stable, pallet wrap can also help resist moisture, and when black pallet wrap is used, prevent prying eyes too. The elastic recovery of the film (known as 'memory') keeps the contents tightly bound. Another use for Pallet wrap is to wrap boxes of any size that are being shipped via couriers or Australia post, to help give the package more strength.

We wanted to buy some moving boxes and came across this packaging company. Staff was good but the quality has turned out to be atrocious. They tear while packing itself let alone moving. Quiet thin and not sturdy at all when comparing to other companies moving boxes. Would not recommend their moving boxes.

I ordered boxes which arrived damaged. I also ordered shrink wrap which just keeps breaking when I use it.
I have bought before without problems but this time the product quality has changed and I’ve been sent inferior product for same price

I've been using Big Red Packaging for almost 3 years now. I find that their pricing is competitive and turnaround time is 10 times better than a local supplier who is a 15 minute drive from myself. I'm located in Melbourne and get my stock delivered within 2-3 business days from when order is placed.
The 2 times I've had minor issues (eg. courier company delivered a damaged boxes) the customer service/sales team rectified the same day, they did it professionally and kept me up to date with the progress.
If I could give you more than 5 stars, I would! Keep up the great work guys.

Pathetic excuse for a supplier..:.Dud Tracking number given...Then 3 weeks later, they will redeliver... A week later... A refund promised... Nothing still....No Stock and No Money... Think carefully before you purchase. My advise...Don’t.

I ordered Silo bags on ebay and was sent inferior cardboard envelopes. There was no attempt to tell me that they didn't have the right product. I was able to return them for refund. Still needing Silo bags, I found Big Red Packaging and ordered. I did not know they were the same company that I had already used via ebay otherwise I would not have bought again. They sent emails regarding postage quotes etc but made no mention at all that they didn't have the Silo bags I ordered and again they sent inferior cardboard envelopes. The box they arrived in has old mailing labels on it - I'm clearly not

Utterly terrible service by Big Red Packaging. Ordered some envelopes, they delivered incorrect products and when I asked when a replacement could be arranged, I was in disbelief when internal sales (Kylee Smith) said "nil luck".
Had an urgent deadline, so I was forced to find the envelopes elsewhere. Been a month and a refund still has not been processed and I've been forced to organise a disputed transaction to get my funds back.
You would think that a company in the wrong would do what they can to rectify their mistake, yet I've experienced nothing but late, to no replies at all, contemptuous

If your business relies on timely deliveries you need to place your orders over a week in advance. Don't expect to be told of any delays, you'll need to chase up why it's not getting delivered as correspondence from BRP is non existent.
Website is terrible and never calculates freight costs immediately.
The only good thing is the cheap prices and the delivery drivers. The 2-3 different drivers I've had have always been super nice, polite and helpful.
It's really a 2.5 star review.
