I'm a Chatswood Chiropractor providing long term pain relief, improving your posture and empowering you towards a more active lifestyle. I take appointments under the Chronic Disease Management, Department of Veterans' Affairs and WorkCover programs. All major private health funds offer cover for chiropractic services - usually on their 'extra' table.

However, annual limits do apply and the amount that you are reimbursed will vary. Check with your own fund to find out the exact details in your case. If you are referred by your general practitioner under the Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan then you are able to claim a portion of your fees from Medicare (up to a maximum of 5 visits per year).
Services
Some of the major causes of neck pain and how we treat them at our Chatswood chiropractic clinic. The spinal column is made up of a number of spinal vertebrae. Their main attachment point is through a portion of the bone call the facet joints. These joints are surrounded by ligaments and have fluid within to allow for smooth movement of the spine.
Some of the major causes of shoulder pain and how we treat them at our Chatswood chiropractic clinic. We live in a society that is increasingly more inactive and sits at computers longer than ever. As a result of such inactivity and postural demands, we inadvertently put more pressure on muscles and ligaments in the upper back and shoulders, leading to pain, stiffness and dysfunction.
Lower back pain is an extremely common - 80% of Australians will experience back pain at some point in their life. Furthermore, almost two thirds of people will experience a flare up within the first year after an episode. Lower back pain can be due to a number of causes, such as irritation to muscles, discs, joints and nerves.
Some of the major causes of knee pain and how we treat them at our Chatswood chiropractic clinic. Pain located at the front of the knee is generally termed Anterior Knee Pain. These injuries can be caused by irritation to a number of structures in and around the knee joint. Examples of such in Patellar Femoral Tracking Syndrome, Plica syndrome, Patellar cartilage inflammation or patellar tendinopathy.
Chronic pain is defined as pain that has persisted past its normal healing time frame. This is considered between 3-6 months after onset. Unfortunately, 1 in 5 Australians experience chronic pain and it places considerable psychological, physical and economic burden on sufferers.

Chronic pain is conceptualised within a 'Biopsychosocial Model', which describes the complex interaction of psychological factors (such as mood and thoughts), biological factors (such as inflammation and posture) and social factors (such as social support and work environment).

Dave at DMC Health and Wellness is a terrific Chiropractor. My job and my training are both extremely demanding on my body, and Dave did an excellent job at assessing, treating and giving me some great exercises which have helped a great deal with my pain. Would definitely recommend!

The first time I visited David was in 2015, I was in an incredible amount of neck pain due to an injury and felt like I was in limbo not knowing what to do next.
Without a doubt, I whole heartedly know that if it wasn’t for David’s knowledge and understanding of my symptoms, I would be in a lot worse place physically than I am now.
5 years on, I’ve had multiple Cervical surgeries/fusions plus other procedures and David has been there for me every step of the way.
Whilst learning to live with chronic pain has not been easy, having David as my chiropractor has taught me so much. It does

My lower back was constantly in pain and I just generally felt stiff. I saw Dave for a few weeks and he helped me perfect my deadlift form which we found out was the main cause of my issues. Haven't had a problem since

For years I had excruciating pain in my back, I went to physios, doctors, pain management people, all to no avail. Then my GP recommended I see David McNaughton. Well, after a few treatments, it wasn't long before I was feeling a lot better! (and a lot happier too). David is careful not to hurt you. He has a kind and personable manner, listens well, and professional approach to your health management. His practice has a lovely ambiance, and you're never kept waiting to see him. Some notes on the location, there is a set of stairs to his rooms with a handrail. Parking has never been a problem, I
