One man's trash is another man's treasure and that is very true when it comes to making money with scrap metal. By heavy scrap metal recycling, the economic benefits extend beyond the initial saving on future purchasing. It also adds substantial resale value, which in turn can be passed on by trading your scrap, and provides an unlikely asset to bolster the balance sheet.
Scrap recycling is an environmentally friendly way of obtaining the scrap you require, which can be tremendously beneficial in terms of promoting a positive image to your clients. It is easy to see, given these major benefits, why recycling scrap metal is becoming more fashionable, and indeed more profitable.

It takes less energy to use steel scrap to make new steel than to mine the iron ore from which it is sourced and then smelt the ore in a blast furnace with temperatures averaging 2800 Fahrenheit and that's why today's steel makers always use a high percentage of steel scrap to make new steel products.Steel is without doubt the easiest metal to separate from all waste metals.

Drive in and dropped all sorts or scrap metal we had lying around the house. Friendly staff members helped unload and load the containers.
Feels better to recycle rather than chucking it in the red bin. As most recycling places they calculate by the kilogram so it's might not be worthwhile if you have small amounts.
Iron/steel is not paid for.
