After rediscovering her love for baking and cake decorating whilst studying a Bachelor of Science, Amanda decided it was time for a career change and pursued her passion for bespoke cakes. Specialising in elegant wedding cakes and celebration cakes, Sweet for you cakes can create a beautiful one of a kind cake to serve to your guests at your next memorable event.
To avoid disappointment, we suggest providing 6-12 weeks' notice for wedding cakes and 3-6 weeks for corporate, birthday and other occasion cakes. Yes, we offer cake consultations (which includes a small sample of our cakes) to all potential wedding cake customers for $30. This fee is then credited to the final cost of the cake.

Amanda was professional, accommodating and made a beautiful and yummy cake for my Mum’s milestone birthday. I suggest order a tasting box beforehand because if you’re like me that can’t decide on the flavour— a tasting box will help. We ended up ordering Passionfruit mudcake for the main cake and Chocolate mudcake and Cookies and Cream for cupcakes! All our guests loved the cake— it was simple yet elegant. The cupcakes were a hit with the kids! Thank you Amanda for making the whole experience easy and I can’t wait for our next occasion!

Amanda was amazing to deal with from start to finish. The communication was amazing throughout and the cake and cupcakes were fantastic. Everyone at the party commented on how lovely to cake and cupcakes looked and how delicious they all tasted. They were absolutely perfect for our sons first birthday party. Thank you Amanda! :)

Amanda made my beautiful 50th birthday cake. Not only was it beautiful in design & presentation, but it was beautiful in flavour. She absolutely nailed my favourite choc/mint flavour My taste buds were doing backflips. Amanda created a dripcake for me which was exactly what I was after. Amanda very professional and easy to communicate with. Cake looked amazing, well priced, cut beautifully and tasted delicious.
