When it rains the water flows from the roof to the guttering and then the downpipes. With a Gutter Pumper installed in your guttering nothing changes during a normal rain event, the vast majority of water goes to the downpipes although when the water in the gutter reaches a depth of 5mm a small amount of water will also drop down the gutter pumper.
However, when the depth of the water exceeds 25mm, it will be above the Supa Gutter Pumper's baffle and the fun starts! The baffle stops air spiralling down the pipe causing the pipe to flow syphonically full of water (the effect of gravity on FULL FLOW generates a vacuum that sucks water into the outlet at high velocity, increasing flow rates by up to 1,000%).
