The bookkeeping industry was still in its infancy in Australia when Helen Stenhouse decided to create PBS in 1983. After moving into banking, she quickly developed a love for logic and numbers, and it was only a matter of time before she started her own business. Where do I start!! I was introduced to Chris (one of the directors) by my exercise physiologist (Hugh). Hugh told me Chris and I would get along very well together. He was absolutely correct. From our initial meeting it was like we had know each other for years. Our book keeping for the last few years was not done properly and some not done at all due to various circumstances. So i basically handed over a mess to PBS to sort out. During the impossible process to fix our books and bring everything up to date, PBS had to go further back (in time) to be able to make things work. They did not ask for
