At Fluid Financial Planning, we develop tailored step-by-step financial strategies and help you make informed decisions about your money. Superannuation, often called super, is a way to save for your retirement. You build up super while you are working to make sure you can have a comfortable retirement.
Feeling a bit lacklustre as the days roll by? Hitting the snooze button more than usual? It's a feeling that can be difficult to put your finger on, but it has a name, languishing. Whether it's feeling exhausted and unmotivated, or restless and eager to do more, we can be off kilter from time to time.
Buying insurance through super has many advantages, but you need to make sure you are getting the right cover for your individual needs. In some cases, you may be paying for nothing. Most super funds offer life and total and permanent disability (TPD) insurance to fund members and, in some cases, income protection cover.

When it comes time to investigate residential aged care for yourself, your partner, parent or relative, the search for a facility and how to pay for it can seem daunting. The system is complex, and decisions are often made in the midst of a health crisis. Factors such as location to family and friends, reputation for care or general appeal are just as important as the sometimes-high price of a room and other fees in residential aged care.

We were first introduced to Peter Small about 3 years ago when planning my retirement. My wife and I felt immediately at ease with Peter and were quickly impressed with his depth of knowledge and attention to detail in helping us plan for the future. He helped us set up our SMSF and continues to provide ongoing support for it, together with general financial planning & investment advice. We have always found Peter to be very proactive with his recommendations in all aspects of the wide-ranging services he provides to us. We have no hesitation in recommending Peter to anyone seeking a financial

My wife Jenny and I have been working with Peter for over 2 years to help us improve our financial position.
After being subject for many years to the "advice" provided from one of the large institutions, it was a very positive and welcome change (and relief) to find in Peter someone who you actually feel is working in your interests, not just his own.
We have always found Peter to be very considered in his advice and willing to invest plenty of his time to ensure you are fully informed and understand the implications and opportunities around a particular investment decision.
He is always available

I was put in contact with Peter Small of Fluid Financial Services by a friend after little progress had been made with my enquires with numerous superannuation/financial advisors
Peter was forthcoming with sound advice and information and was able to lay out options clearly without unnecessary complications and was always readily available when help was needed especially in dealing with the more complex issues that arise with the various superannuation/financial institutions.
I highly recommend Peter to anyone in need of advice and guidance with superannuation/financial planning
