The Country Gardens Motel is centrally located on the Newell Highway, right in town, opposite the Information Centre. We are a 2 minute walk to the local club, Chinese restaurant, tourist information centre and showground. Coonabarabran is the gateway to the Warrumbungles National Park and the Astronomy Capital of Australia.

Beautiful and clean place to stay in Coona. We stayed here one night over Boxing day for a family event and it was well worth it. Very affordable but great value, The TV was even a smartTV so we could enjoy some Netflix! The staff were so kind and thoughtful despite being at full capacity and quite busy, pool was fantastic and the rooms were quite modern. Will definitely be back!

Clean, neat easy check in, not noisy, simple breakfast, comfortable bed. For those that require the basics - it's perfect. The pool was well received by the kid travellers.

What a gem this place was! A great fine- beautiful and clean, included everything you need for your stay including a light breakfast and toiletries. Pool was super lovely, and well kept. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great price also-
Fantastic location, across the road from the information centre and a quick walk to the local restaurants/pubs. Will stay here again if we are in town!

This was a very pleasant place to stay. Friendly service, big coffee cups, toaster and microwave. Full blackout drapes and a comfy bed with electric blanket. Light breaks a bonus.

I've stayed here on many occasions, some business, some pleasure. Never disappointed. Great rates. Clean rooms. Fantastic shower.
Owners take note - I stayed in rm 32 this time, and with the westerly wind the door was being pushed inwards, allowing cold air to come in between the door and the frame. This made it quite cold in the room. Suggest you buy a roll of sealing tape from Bunnings to fill the gap and save money on air con costs.
Other than that, a perfect place to stay for a night or two.

Bed was well worn. We had room 21 but allocated a car park outside of room 19, whoever parked outside our room left at 4:30 am and ran their car for a good 5 minutes before leaving. I have had better sleeps 😒 room was very clean, great shower.

We had a great overnight stay, the managers are lovely, and keep the place in top condition. Located a short walk to the main street, and across the road from the Bowling Club, which served some of the best Chinese we had had in a long time. Our room was a great size, the bed very comfortable, and the water pressure was good, the continental breakfast was also most welcomed. We are very happy to recommend this accommodation to fellow travellers, and will definitely stay again next time we are passing through Coonabarabran

Have stayed at Country Gardens twice now and have always found the room to be great. I requested and got room # 22 on my return visit as I was super happy 1st time. Quite modern compared to other motels of the same age. Bed (lovely and comfy) and linen top class. Very, very clean. Well done to owners and staff.

Clean, tidy...location, location, location. We were very impressed by the the management, they oversee a quality establishment. The breakfast pack was welcomed, and the proximity to the main st is excellent. Try the Bowling club across the road for the best Chinese we have had in a long time. Ten thumbs up from us, thanks for a great stay
