Vintage Aviation operates scenic flights in a rare 1945 Tiger Moth vintage biplane. We recreate the golden age of aviation where the passenger sits in an open-cockpit dressed in vintage flying gear. Departing Cessnock airport in the heart of the Hunter Valley vineyards, passengers can soar above world-class wineries, vine-laced hills, verdant valleys and all the Hunter Valley attractions.

On longer flights we fly to the industrious mining belt in Muswellbrook or take in the breathtaking coastline of Lake Macquarie and Newcastle. See the spectacular sights on offer such as the many Vineyards & Wineries, Gourmet Farms, Hunter Valley Gardens, Cypress Lakes Resort, Crown Plaza Resort, Hope Estate etc.

Wow what an experience! I am so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone to give this ago. I had such a great time the staff couldn't be more helpful. Can't wait to go back. Definitely recommend.

A fantastic experience. The pilot Andrew and ground crew - Lee & Julie were professional, making it a truly memorable experience from the preflight safety information to climbing aboard the beautiful Tiger Moth. Taking in the spectacular views on my 30 minute flight, this is truly an amazing experience to remember. I will definitely be back again and recommend everyone to do it at least once in their lifetime.

Yes have done it twice up hunter valley now and loved it both times they guys are amazing make u feel so welcome they go over everything with u and ask if ur ok and ask if u want to do more and try more things in the sky if u get scared they will bring u down one of the best things I’ve down enjoyed so much went back my friend got scared but glad he pushed himself to do it but was scared of heights but so proud he tried cause if u don’t give it a go ull never know cheers guy for a great experience
