Nice rooms for an overnighter.
Bed were a little springy for me, but otherwise ok.
2 minor complaints-
1. A descent sized freezer is needed in the fridge. Trying to refreeze cooler blocks in something that barely gets to 0 degrees is an exercise in futility.
2. A better insect screen is needed on the bathroom. Daughter inadvertently left the bathroom light on at night (maybe to see her way back to the bed, I don't know), and within an hour or so the whole room was full of tiny midges and the like.
Pool was well maintained.
Staff are friendly. A short walk to the club for a feed is a bonus

Chinese there last night, 26/2/21, was superb!!! Prompt, friendly service and food nice and hot when delivered to table. Presentation and taste were second to none. Shall return again. Restuarant comfortably styled with great view of beautiful gardens / course. Only criticism was volume of compare at raffles. So loud we could not conduct a conversation. ears still ringing this morning. Overall a most enjoyable night out. Congrats Howlong.

I have recently stayed here for two one week visits in the past 6 weeks. All I can say is that it was a brilliant stay both times. Rooms are spotless and well equipped with great hosts. The club was excellent, with happy friendly staff with a fine selection of food and beers on tap. Even though it was a work trip the location and amenities made it feel more like a holiday. A special thanks to Allanah and Linda for their great hospitality.

Peter and Raelene were fantastic. location was great, with easy access to many places and wineries. Golf course was in very good condition and the beer was very cold. we had a self contained 2 bedroom unit and used the BBQ facilities to cook our dinner. Howlong butchers eye fillet was one of the best ever purchased.
