Our first "shop" was actually based out of the garage of Pauls home at the time, in Pymble. About fifteen years ago, We moved into a factory space opposite McDonalds on Victoria Road, Gladesville and after growing rapidly, We moved into the factory complex we still occupy, at present. The business was formerly known as Beds and Seconds, and has always had a well respected name.
Many of our first customers still come back for beds, or are now sending their kids around when they "move out" of home. Unlike some businesses, we take pleasure in trying our best to help people, and as a result we do something that most experts will tell business owners not to do, and that is, TO BE ALL THINGS TO ALL PEOPLE.

Services
The most common spring type still used today, is the "bonnel" spring. It is a spring system that has been around for "donkey's years" but is still used extensively, due to it's toughness and durability. In our shop we stock mattresses using this spring shape, in the "budget" to mid range areas. Pocket springs are individually wrapped and unlike open coil springs, are independent of each other.

Great team on the shop floor, knowledgable and not the typical pushy salesman. Allowed us time to lay on the mattress together and helped us to establish the right bed for us, rather than the most expensive bed for them.
What did make them stand out from the larger companies is the delivery, I did offer fair warning that it would be a squeeze and would take some pushing and shoving to get the mattress up the stairs, and I’ve had a previous bed company refuse under the grounds of “health and safety”.

I have purchased recently gone back to Staddons to order my mattresses for my new house. Their service is efficient and friendly. I went to the show room and was helped by Patrick. I told him what kind of mattress I wanted, he showed me three to choose from. I went for the Regency, and am delighted with the mattress, so much so, I have ordered another one for my spare room. Dealt with Neil on delivery and order of second mattress. Also very helpful. Couldn’t recommend them enough for a quality mattress without paying thousands of pounds.
