Mole Creek Caravan Park
Mole Creek Caravan Park is a privately owned and operated park surrounded by small farms and mountains. It is a grassed area beside Sassafras Creek. Emphasis is placed on retaining the area in its natural state. At Mole Creek Caravan Park we aim to ensure you are as comfortable as possible in our natural surroundings. Dogs are welcome at your campsite, but must be on a leash at all times. Our disposal facilities are recycle friendly and we actively encourage our guests to recycle.
Services
We appreciate getting feedback. Comments = Mole Creek Caravan Park must be one of Tassie's hidden treasures. Tranquil & peaceful with a lovely creek running through it, complete with platypus. During my recent stay there I had a medical problem. Jill, the owner / caretaker checked on me regularly & went out of her way to ensure I was OK.

Brilliant caravan and campsite. Fantastic owners to have a yarn with and so much better than the big chain operators. Try book a creek frontage site and look out for platapus. Great place to base yourself to visit the caves in the area.

My favourite place we stayed in Tassie. And we have been to Tassie three times! The creek is so beautiful, the owners are extremely warm and friendly. There is a fire pit on most sites and firewood is available for only $15. We also had a timber table which was really handy and we even saw a platypus in the creek!

We were welcomed so warmly by Sara & Glen! They are the kindest, most thoughtful hosts you could ever meet. They treated us and our kids like family! Our kids loved meeting the chickens and sheep and playing in the fairly garden. They also spent hours playing in the creek. The location is stunning! There’s lots to do in the area and a great cafe just up the road. We highly recommend Mole Creek Caravan Park.

0h my, such a good spot to pitch for a few nights. Lovely setting great people who run it Glenn & Sara (special mention to Clyde the dog). The setting, a creek runs through it, the surrounding mountains, a Cafe 400 mtrs around the corner (very good coffee) a pub and local brewery 2 kms up the road and plenty of other local cave stuff. Just great!

A simple and very affordable little camp spot, right on the creek. Bring $1 coins for hot showers. A basic camp kitchen, laundry, powered sites available. Look for Platypus in the creek at dawn and dusk. Very friendly camp site owners, this place has a great vibe.

We loved this place. We fed sheep, hung out with Clide the dog and watched the sunset on the mountains. It was affordable, had good showers and washer and dryer and a nice cabin we stayed in. It was an amazing time. Also they have a platypus in the lake right next to the campgrounds so that’s a bonus. Would recommend and looking forward to coming again.

An excellent place to stay for a couple of nights with your motorhome or caravan. The views are to die for. Our hosts did an excellent at making us feel comfortable and right at home. Hot showers, campfires and a running creek around the flank of the camping area. I saw trout in the waters down by the tree at the bottom of the paddock. We will be back!
