Renew Psychology and Rehabilitation is a leading edge Toowoomba based psychology and rehabilitation company that provides real world treatment for individuals and businesses seeking effective and efficient psychological interventions. We have a strong interest in PTSD and trauma intervention, adjustment to injury counselling, positive behaviour support planning, career counselling and transitioning to new work environments.
We utilise Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy and Narrative Therapy approaches to intervention. We also find great success with Eye Movement, Desensitisation, & Reprocessing EMDR, and Focussed Exposure techniques.

Personality - can be very useful in aiding treatment formulation but increasingly used by business and other service providers as a screening tool for pre-employment and a wide variety of other work related issues.Functional Capacity - When assessment of adaptive skills in home, school, work and community are needed.
Your GP can refer you by completing a GP Mental Health Plan. This plan allows you to access 10 Medicare rebated sessions per calendar year. You DO NOT have to wait 12 months from the date of referral to be eligible for these services as you are entitled to 10 sessions of necessary treatment each calendar year.
