Kate was the original owner and Eliza and Georgie (sisters from Adelaide) bought the business from Kate 6 years ago.
Georgie had been working in the business for 10 years and Eliza joined her after returning from living in Hong Kong. Georgie studied a Bachelor of Interior Design after school and has been working in the industry ever since. She is also an extremely talented florist and worked for Saskia Havekes at Grandiflora for 7 years.

We ask questions about the space, who will be using it, how much natural light is there, what is the size of the space, style of the home and interiors. If I could give them a million stars I would! Second time I have used them and I couldn't be happier with the lovely ladies..they were so lovely...super duper helpful and quite honestly...u don't need to go anywhere else! Their range is off the charts and they were just so wonderful and the shop is so great I could have quite happily stayed all day if it wasn't for lockdown. Their knowledge was exceptional

Whoever served me there today looked like she couldn’t be bothered. It is rarely that someone can have such a passive aggressive vibe and watch business walk out. Clearly this could have not been the owner. Emotionless non empathetic face with zero personal skills. A tile was offered to us at $179 per square meter in Brookvale a very friendly team in a small tile shop had the same tile for $132 inclusive of GST! per square meter - one can’t help but believe that Tiles by Kate is a ripp off. We hav eben 3 times there and the aloof attitude was apparent each time. What a shame we wanted

Tiles by Kate is the perfect place if you're looking for tiles of any description!
We were helped by Eliza and Hilary, who went above and beyond to accomodate some pretty intense and last minute requests. They were extremely knowledgeable, super efficient and incredibly friendly - I cannot recommend highly enough!
Will definitely be looking to use again (hopefully multiple times!) in future.
