I'm a website copywriter, freelance journalist and online editor. I have spent my career working for companies like 7News, Skype and Medical Journal of Australia. These days, I specialise in writing for organisations that care. I write about topics from baby care to aged care and all the aspects of healthcare and education in between.

You're an organisation, brand, or not-for-profit that really cares about your customers and community. That's why you need a copywriter who cares too. With over 12 years as an online journalist in the news, health and tech spaces, I know how to write the stories people are interested in. Whether you need press releases, flyers or other written content, I create easy to read, convincing marketing copy for businesses.
Services
Journalism is my first love. Since studying a BA in Journalism at CSU Bathurst, I've loved telling stories in all mediums. I write high quality, well-researched copy for a variety of publications. I particularly like writing about lifestyle, health and medical topics and have also been a freelance journalist for a variety of travel, tech and parenting websites and magazines.
I have worked for one of Australia's most prestigious medical journals and a variety of health brands as a health and medical writer. I write for the aged care and the disability sectors and have the ability to understand complex medical topics and write about them in an interesting and engaging way.
Writing about children and parenting is one of my favourite topics. I am a freelance parenting writer for brands and publishers, covering general advice, research-based articles solving some of the big parenting issues and occasionally I write about my own experiences of parenting. We approached Caitlin to write 3 short form articles for a WaterWipes campaign, appearing on BabyCentre.com.au.
Being a successful lifestyle writer is all about inspiring your audience. Some of my articles will encourage travel to far-flung destinations, some will introduce the latest cool thing to do at home and others will be about a yummy restaurant. I write well-crafted articles, blogs and websites that are compelling and enticing to the reader.
I'm a copywriter from Lane Cove on Sydney's north shore. I'm available for consultations about website copywriting, freelance journalism, communications consultancy and more. Or if you're not quite ready to get in touch but like what you see, feel free to stalk me on social media. I am currently on LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter.

Caitlin has been working with us for about 6 months and has consistently delivered great pieces on or before our deadline. Not only have I enjoyed working with her, but so have members she's interviewed for various topics.
She has written pieces for us on issues ranging from serious to light and captured the right tone for our audience. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Caitlin to anyone looking for a content writer.

I recently engaged Caitlin to assist with updating a positioning statement and small bio. Caitlin took a lot of time to review my requirements and dedicated an hour to conducting an in-depth interview to better understand my context. The final copy exceeded my expectations and was delivered on time (which was much quicker than I expected).

Leichhardt Marrickville Community Transport Group Inc (LCTG) contracted Caitlin to re - organise, and write SEO friendly content for our website and client publications. Caitlin was recommended to us through word of mouth.
I found working with Caitlin to be straightforward and professional. Our website was well out of date with some underlying some technical issues but Caitlin patiently worked through these.
We are very pleased with Catlin’s efforts and would recommend Caitlin to anyone looking for SEO optimised copywriting. LCTG would have no hesitation in working with Caitlin on future projects
