I previously used this business for same day and next day clothing alterations but the business has deteriorated in terms of customer service and the quality of their alterations. I think the business may have been sold or had a change in management because the staff have changed, the service has deteriorated, their alterations are of unusual poor quality and their prices have dramatically increased. I had a pair of jeans altered (leg length) and had a jacket’s arm length altered. Almost $160 later I had to return to the store after trying to wear the jacket only to find that the internal stitching

I brought in a pair of jeans to alter, the length is good, but I was charged $45 to keep the original finishing, and when I got the jeans back, My foot does not go through them as the threads were originally elastic, but the new threads aren’t and therefore my foot will not go through the jeans anymore. Furthermore the stitching is of very poor quality.

Most incredibly disappointed and shocked at not only their alteration skills but also their customer service. I was shouted at by one of their employees for bringing in a poorly hemmed item and was yelled at to take the clothing back and bring it on another day without a reason. Could not understand a word the employee was saying with her accent and after asking her to repeat what she had said she would constantly laugh. This behavior was in front of other customers and her colleague who stepped in after watching her disappointing and aggressive behavior go on. Would not recommend anyone to be

Zero stars! Service and quality have deteriorated beyond measure. Used to get many alterations done here and was happy to pay a bit more, but in May 2020 was charged over $100 to have pants hemmed and pockets removed. The pants were actually hemmed in a different colour thread altogether and the hem came unraveled on the first wear - see photo. Work around the pockets was awful, fabric pulled too tight when re-stitched so that the pants now pull (the whole reason you get the pockets removed is to achieve a smooth line).

I went in to the store on Sunday 15th Dec to have the hem of pants taken up. The assistant was difficult to understand and initially said they could not be done as would need to be sent to the workroom and hemming would need to take more than an hour, one day. Then said that hem could be done in one hour but finish would not be the same as already on pants. They could not explain clearly what finish would be used. As I do not live in Adelaide, I agreed to have one hour job done. Very disappointed with finish and will not use the store again. There was very visible and untidy backstitching where

Really disappointed with the quality and the customer service... Around 4 years ago I took a Bianca Spender silk dress in to be hemmed and they did a fabulous job! Just last week I took a $300 pair of pants in to be hemmed as they were a delicate pair of pants and I knew they took great care with special garments. They were returned to me absolutely ruined! I was devastated as I had only worn the pants once. I took them back into them and all they could offer me was a $9 refund - they claimed it was damaged I had done when clearly they had been too rough, used a machine when they should have hand

I can't say enough positive words about my experience with this business. The lady who received my order last Sunday was so lovely and she made my day by saying it would be nice for me to come in every day as I was so friendly. I had been feeling quite down and this cheered me up immediately. Then when I collected my garment it was perfectly hemmed and again the staff member was brilliant. I strongly recommend you take photos of your garments on you before you take them in, and again after they have measured and pinned your garment for alterations. I believe these tailors made a mistake while altering my dress, and not only refused to accept any responsibility but also made sure I was humiliated in front of other customers. I have waited weeks to write this review to make sure I didn't leave a nasty review in haste. Never have I experienced such atrocious customer service. This is the first time I have ever reviewed anything. I took my daughters school dress in at the start of first term and it had come undone by the end of first term. That's 8 weeks of wearing it three days a week. I expected it to be repaired free of charge but was told it was the way she sat in her chair. One of her previous dresses lasted three years without the hem coming undone. The supposed manager/owner was rude and condescending. Seriously do not use this store!

This place used to be great but the quality of the work and customer service has dropped. Its like they are under new management. Twice hems dropped out after being done here and they tried to blame it on me ("sometimes heels catch on them" - I dont wear heels!). At any rate, shopping for an alternative for sure.

But whenever I do need anything taken up or clothing altered, I come here and for one reason - I trust these guys completely. As well as your run of the mill hems, they do more extensive alterations

Unlike other shops of its sort, the name is exactly what the store suggests. In my case I simply purchase my pants in the mall, take them here, continue shopping and then return in an hour to pick them up.
For a short girl like me, this shop is like a local convenient store. I would definitely recommend it to

What can I say? I couldn't sew a decent hem to save my life and whenever I buy new jeans or pants this is my first port of call because the pants are always too long and I trip easily!
