Services
Dogs and cats age on average, five to eight times faster than humans. By age two, most pets have already reached adulthood. At age four, many are entering middle age. By age seven, many cats and dogs, particularly larger breed dogs, are entering their senior years. Because pets age so rapidly, major health changes can occur in a short amount of time.

Responsible pet care requires kittens to be given their initial course of vaccinations, but this cannot protect them for the rest of their lives.
Clinical pathology involves the laboratory evaluation of blood, bodily fluids or body tissues in order to identify existing disease. Common laboratory tests include blood chemistries, complete blood counts, blood clotting times, urinalysis, faecal tests, biopsy examination, cultures and infectious disease testing.
Dentistry is a rapidly growing area of veterinary science. More and more we are understanding the significant effect dental health can have on the overall health of the animals we treat. Just like humans, pets' teeth need looking after too! The health of their teeth and gums has a significant impact on their overall quality of life.
Our hospital is fully equipped to take radiographs (often called x-rays) of your pet. Our veterinarians will discuss your pet's case and conduct a thorough physical examination to determine if your pet requires radiographs. Radiographs are a very important tool to help us diagnose diseases in animals, particularly for conditions involving bones, the chest or abdomen.

I have a rescued Dwarf pitbull named Dink approximately 6 years old. He has Severe Allergies that he needs constant medication for. He recently ran out and my other vet wasn’t Re Newing his prescription because he wanted a yearly Visit and because of Covid my normal vet was swamped and I wouldn’t be able to get a appointment for 2 plus weeks and every other vet in my town were not excepting new clients, Now because he was out of his allergy med he shook and scratched his ear raw and was getting a infection, They were able to get him a appointment less then 24 hours later and took care of him

It's been a great experience every time we've gone! Most recently we took in 2 rescue stray kittens that have cerebellar hypoplasia (wobbly cat). They got them all caught up on medical care and let us know what to expect with the kittens' condition. It was all very encouraging and helpful! The vet also took a video of the kittens wobbling around to post to raise awareness of the condition. Everyone there clearly cares deeply for each animal brought in. ❤️

I can not say enough good things about Sunset. Dr. White and Dr. Grimmett are oustanding providers and always worked with my pets in a calm, comforting manner. We have one rescue dog with severe vet anxiety and everyone at Sunset worked with us to make sure we got in and out as quickly and calmly as possible, while still ensuring that my dogs vaccine and other vet needs were met.
The vet techs and front desk staff are outstanding as well. Always so helpful by phone, email, and in clinic. I truly feel like they got to know me and my pets and made this clinic so warm and welcoming. Unfortunately

Unfortunately we recently had to put our family dog, Milo, down. It was a very hard choice, but they gave us the time and space we needed to make that decision. When the time came, they were extremely professional and most importantly caring and compassionate. They made the whole process extremely special. They assured us that what we were doing was right, that Milo would not feel pain or be scared. We watched her go peacefully. They then sent us a beautiful hand written card with lots of love and a little vile that contained some of her hair as a keepsake. It was unexpected and beautiful. Can

Wonderful staff who went above and beyond in their service by asking lots of questions, listening patiently and providing a debrief on departure, as well as a take home clinical examination form for reference (great idea!) Dr. Bec was very friendly, thorough and informative, taking her time in examining my dog and explaining things to me in detail. Everyone was super friendly, to both myself and my fur child - clearly all big animal lovers which is always a great sign! Thanks to all!

Can’t rate this place high enough. Been coming here for a little while now with my two dogs and the staff are amazing. Unfortunately I’ve just had to have my dog of 12 yrs put to sleep and the staff were so… kind and professional every step of the way. They cared so much they even sent the family a card and poem a few days later. Wouldn’t go anywhere else
