AC current is used for aluminium and it's alloys. Purchased a Metalmaster 210 4 years ago and have been building aluminum caravan / trailer frames with it and still going strong.
Had an issue the other day where it would just not weld so phoned them up and they stepped me through some tests....turns out the hand piece had its day. That's pretty good for 4 years of heavy welding.
Excellent after sales service even after 4 years.

I can't speak highly enough about Pete and his absolutely outstanding customer service (including the after sales service) that we received. Amazing service with fantastic prices. Token Tools at Wyong also carries the consumables for our welder that the seller (a big name tool shop) doesn't even stock. On our latest visit our 7yr old daughter asked if they sold welding helmets for kids, next moment she had her very own helmet and has spent two whole days helping her dad and learning how to weld! Very highly recommend a visit to Token Tools for your welding supplies!

Service was outstanding. Pete was incredibly helpful with all my questions and, when I placed the order late in the week, he hustled to get it sent so I could have it by the weekend.....without my even asking. How awesome is that for service!!

A recommendation from a friend led me to purchase a 210 Alupulse Pro ACDC GTAW from Tokentools at Wyong. Mostly needed this welder to look after the 1mm to 2.5 mm stainless work. Well first impressions the build quality looked very good. Fired it up and got to work with it ..a very nice welder , easy to use , smooth as silk , very controllable. However on low amps i was having some trouble with flaring at the weld either in the shield or due to the machine?. Contacted Pete from Tokentools.. I had a great experience with Tokentools yesterday. I’ve got Metalmaster 210, not sure exactly but 5 or 6 years old. I couldn’t find the operations manual and was having trouble switching from gasless to gas wire. I called and the fellow I spoke with (Peter?) was very helpful and got me sorted. Purchased my MIG210S from Token tools after reading so many reviews on Google about exceptional customer service, and i have not been disappointed. Firstly delivery was super quick had the unit in 2 x days impressive, being a novice user i had some questions about the unit and Pete got back to me straight away. After about a week i had a small issue with the machine and again Pete was very responsive to email even on the weekend and we got it sorted no problem. Pete really looked after me and i am very happy with my unit. Don't hesitate to purchase from this company, they have fantastic product

Recently I had a problem with my TIG welder and I narrowed the problem down to a issue with the foot controller,my next issue was the foot pedal was out of warranty so I emailed Pete and through numerous emails he said it was most likely a faulty potentiometer in the pedal and also not to worry about the out of warranty pedal as they would fix it at no cost to me.
I sent the foot controller down to Tokentools on a Wednesday and had back as good as new the following Monday morning ,I can't say enough good things about these guys at Tokentools and I think you would go along way to find another welding

The team at Tokentools repaired my faulty machine which another shop in Wetherill Park claims to be too far gone to repair and it would be more economical to buy one of their new machines. Tokentools had a look at my machine and found it had a fault potentiometer. A lot cheaper to repair than to buy a new machine unnecessarily.
Fantastic bunch of guys. Great service before and after sales ! I would definitely recommend anyone looking to buy welding equipment to skip the rest and buy from Tokentools. These are the guys to go to.
