We contacted Beyond Accountancy Services to help us deal with a difficult tax problem which had resulted in filings being missed and a backlog of woe. They helped us get on top of it and negotiated with the ATO on our behalf (very successfully).
They were at all times clear and transparent and showed us how they were acting in accordance with the expectations of the ATO by walking us through portions of the ATO website.

Recently used Beyond Accountancy for some advice on Trans-Tasman tax. It is difficult to find and decipher this information from the ATO website so I engaged Beyond Accountancy. Craig Byron was very easy to talk to and exceptionally knowledgeable in this area, he gave immediate advice and followed up straightaway with a report. The booking and billing process was super simple and they offer a range of options for communications i.e. virtual meetings which enabled me to have a quality one-on-one meeting from Brisbane with Craig (who is in Melbourne).

I used Beyond Accountancy (Craig Byron) for the first time for my 2019 tax return and it was fine. I contacted Craig this year to do my 2020 tax return and he tells me 'he can no longer longer meet my needs. Best of Luck in the future' with no reason why. I email him again for a reason and he says 'I'm simply too busy. Best of luck'. How an accounting business can drop a previous client because they are simply too busy only 2 months into the tax year is beyond belief, not beyond accountancy services.

Our tax returns were a little more complicated this year than in previous years, and so it was a great relief to have Craig explain everything. We really liked the videoconference format, and the fact that the job was 90% complete during it. Craig needed to follow up on a couple of points after the call, but those were completed very soon afterwards. Highly recommended.
