Because pets age so rapidly, major health changes can occur in a short amount of time. The risk of cancer, diabetes, obesity, arthritis, heart disease and other serious conditions all increase with age. Today's pets are living longer than ever, chances are that many may experience a potentially serious illness during their lifetime.
It is often very convenient for owners with a litter to have the pups or kittens checked, vaccinated and microchipped at home. For litters over 4 pups or kittens, we offer discounted pricing which includes travel/home visit, health check and the vaccination itself. We are also able to offer a package deal for first vaccinations + microchipping/national registration.
Vaccination has revolutionised control of infectious disease in our pets. It is essential that all pets are adequately vaccinated to help protect the pet population as a whole. Responsible pet care requires kittens to be given their initial course of vaccinations, but this cannot protect them for the rest of their lives.
Fleas are most often seen during the warmer months but as we keep our homes nice and warm throughout winter, we see fleas all year round. Only a small part of the adult flea population actually lives on your pet. The fleas' eggs and larvae live in the environment and can survive for up to a year, so it is important to not only treat your animal directly for fleas but also decontaminate the environment as well.

Finding Dr. Susan Haight has been one of the bright spots in my life! I have advanced arthritis in my knees, shoulders, hips, etc. and desperately needed to find a mobile vet. She came highly recommended on Next Door by several people. She is, indeed, an absolute treasure! Finding a vet who truly loves animals and who cares so much about both patient and owner is like finding that pot of gold at the end of a rainbow!!! She’s dedicated, knowledgeable and relentless when it comes to identifying exactly what needs to be done for each of her precious patients. I have never been more impressed with
