Your dogs go out to play in the grassed yards four times a day at Abbeyards Gold Coast boarding kennels. We are constantly in and out of the kennels cleaning, bathing and putting your fur babies out for a run and play. This gives your dogs plenty of contact with our animal loving staff.
Your pets will love play time with our Gold Coast boarding kennels staff, who regularly take time to play some ball and administer quality belly rubs and ear scratches.All our Gold Coast boarding kennels are air-conditioned and kept at a constant 24 degrees summer and winter, which is perfect for pets that are most affected by heat and cold.

At Abbeyards boarding kennels and cattery we provide your pets with secure, comfortable rooms for their holiday. Fully air-conditioned and enclosed your furry friends will be warm in winter and cool in summer. We provide all bedding however if you wish to bring any bedding or toys from home you are more than welcome.
Turner always returns happy from his visits to Abbeyards. He is even visibly excited when he gets out of the car - clearly looking forward to his 'holiday'. The experience we get from this business has exceeded our expectations. Well done Abbeyards. Fantastic place to leave your fur babies. Our boy loved it there, and the staff take amazing care of the dogs while they are there, and are affordable too.

I asked to inspect the dog kennels and play area and was disgusted at the smell. The play area is small and has a sand base which cannot be cleaned adequately and reaked of urine. I left a dog blanket for my precious which is off my bed and she usually sleeps on it when I collected it it stunk of poo. I also left her dog biscuits which were not given to her.

our dog who is very picky and always lives inside with the family went to Abbeyards twice in one week - much to our surprise he was super excited to go there the second time, excitement that's normally reserved for his family. He loves it there, the staff are serious animal lovers

Our 2 beagles Murphy and Mia had never needed to go to kennels before so we were concerned they would be anxious . They spent a week at Abbeyards recently and we couldn’t have been more happy. They came back just as we had left them ( and fatter ). We requested photos half way thru their stay and that was no problem . Thank you for looking after our family so well . They will definitely stay with you again .👏

My first time to use a boarding kennel and they are fantastic! Rates are competitive and affordable. Kennels are clean and air conditioned, grounds are always tidy, and the surrounds are so peaceful. Staff are always friendly and smiling, they are excellent carers and confident handlers. I was only gone for a week, but I think my little furbaby came back from a better vacation than mine! Will be using them in the future!

Our beagle puppy Jersey recently stayed at Abbeyards and we were SO impressed. Wendy and the team are absolutely delightful and you can tell immediately they are genuinely super passionate about animals.
We were a bit nervous about the whole kennel thing, but called several vets who recommended Abbeyards (as they have never seen dogs/cats with any health complaints after staying there), so made the choice to go with them.
They took excellent care of her and we would have no hesitation leaving her there again. They sincerely love animals and gave our girl lots of cuddles - and a nice bath before
