Phoenix Stone is 100% Australian owned importer and wholesaler of natural stone products based in Melbourne, Victoria. We have over 80 years of combined landscaping & building experience. We are committed to sourcing quality natural stone products from Australia and around the world for use in both commercial and residential projects.
Limestone is a fine-grained, sedimentary rock formed from compressed and cemented seashells and marine animal skeletons. Due to a large number of minerals in its composition, limestone can vary in colour from cream to pink to brown to black. Limestone makes an excellent building stone because it can be easily worked and is typically used for flooring and wall cladding.
Sandstone is formed when sand is buried under successive layers of sediment. During burial the sand is compacted, and a binding agent is precipitated from ground water which moves between the grains. In the formation process fossils, ripple marks, and animal trails may appear on the surface of the stone which have been retained when the stone has been split or cut.
We have "swatches" of our natural stone available as samples. All of our retail partners have 100mm x 100mm swatches of our products that they can supply to you. If necessary, we can arrange to send you samples in the post. There may be a small charge for this service. On the odd occasion where a site visit is required to identify the product, this can be arranged.
We provide a service where we come to your residence or project site to template your existing or new pool to create bespoke pool and spa edges. These customised pieces can be tailored to your specific needs. Whether your pool and spa is predominantly rectangular or an irregular kidney shape we can create pieces to suit.

Ric from Phenix Stone was a pleasure to do business with. He had excellent communications and was prompt to reply to emails. We chose to have engineered stone installed in our kitchen - it was supplied and installed by Pheonix Stone - We are very happy with the results.
