In 1984 Richard Darcey began Midland Tractors in a rented shed in Brighton, approximately 20km north of Hobart. He was the John Deere Agricultural dealer for southern Tasmania. Being a one man operation he would complete spare parts and office duties in the mornings, closing the shop early afternoon to carry out field service or visit customers with sales enquiries.
We are always looking for motivated and driven individuals who are seeking a long term, fulltime position as Service Technician. Reporting to the Service Co-ordinator, this position's main job duties include the performance of basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment.
