I'm not super knowledgeable about welders, I was not to sure as to what to get for my needs. But the staff at Gentronics made the process way easier for a person like me. They are Kind, Respectful and they are always happy to answer any questions I had in the most easiest way I could understand... I strongly recommend this place... That and they have Free Coffee :D

I have been dealing with Gentronics and their staff for well over 25 years while working with different companies in the boat building trade. Alan and his team have always kept up with the latest technology. I recently started out with my own business and needed a good quality Tig welder so i called Gentronics and purchased a Topgun 320 AC/DC Pulse, this machine gets alot of work and used in the high current range often, without a problem. Very dissapointing, i attended the store today chose a part to repair my welder with consultant, when i went to pay i was told there is $20.00 minimum purchase because my $10.00 purchase didnt cover the cost of printing the invoice, the consultant would not allow the purchase and i left. After many years of purchasing welding equipment from gentronics time to look elsewhere.

Found Gentronics whilst looking for for a welder that can weld both steel and aluminium.
I am relatively new to welding and learnt a a lot about welders with my visit.
The staff were really helpful, allowed me to try my hand at having a weld using the type of welder i was looking at purchasing.
Once i felt a little more confident with what i was doing i did go ahead and purchase the welder.... it was called a Top-gun 200 ACDC... The ACDC means it can weld both Ali and Steel, and the 200 means it is 200 AMPS.... something important when trying to weld.
Honestly if you need to buy a welder check
