Services
No, we don't have a lift. The building is a 3 storey walk up - there are steps to the building and stairs to the First and Second Levels. If you have difficulties with stairs please let us know and we can try & allocate you a lower level apartment. No, we are self-contained apartment and supply a starter kit for your stay.
Verandah's Apartments can arrange for Airport transfers including shared mini coach to private transfers return from Cairns Airport. Bookings must be made prior to your arrival or departure date by contacting us via email or phone. All we require is your flight details, number of passengers including ages of children for appropriate seating.

We’ve loved our 8 nights in apartment 16! The positioning of these tranquil, private apartments cannot be beat. Just seconds walk to the Main Street and a few minutes to the beach it was perfect with our little one! The grounds are immaculate and the pool area was perfect! Greg and Sue were super lovely and helpful! The apartment was very clean, spacious and really suited our family with 2 bed and 2 bath. Our generous balcony overlooked the pool area. There’s plenty to do in Port Douglas but majority of our time was spent by the pool or relaxing in our apartment. It’s our second time at Verandah’s

We had 5 brilliant days at Verandahs in October. Can’t say enough about the accommodation, service and location. The team went out of their way to help with bookings, recommendations and all the little things that make a holiday that little bit more special. Talk to them before bookings any activities and take advantage of the local knowledge and… genuine desire to ensure you and your family have the best time. Location is walking distance to all of Port Douglas and in particular the beach. We will be back and telling all of our friends that Verandahs is the place to stay.

Very friendly and welcoming, staff and management were always happy to help us with any request (like booking confirmations for various planned activities). Our apartment was very spacious and had a nice view over the pool so we could keep an eye on our kids. Our apartment had split system air conditioning AND ceiling fans in every bedroom and the kitchen/living area. The whole complex was very well maintained and spotlessly clean, including common areas. The swimming pool was big enough for the kids to swim or just play around in and was in a shady location. Undercover parking below the apartments

Our family spent a week at Verandahs Port Douglas. Sue was an absolute super star host, she had the answers to all of our questions and expertly pointed us in the direction of the best local attractions, coral reef tours, day spas, massage therapists, evening boat cruises, local coffee shops, the best gelato in town, bars with incredible sunset views and even an amazing restaurant for our final evening.
Our apartment was fabulous. It was super clean and spacious. Plus it had everything a family of four needed for a relaxing week away.
