Services
Biological Agriculture understands the necessity for a balanced relationship between the three aspects of the soil, namely the physical, chemical and biological to sustain life. Everything comes from the soil and returns to the soil, it is a living system alive with trillions of organisms that recycle nutrients and sustain life.
We have gone to great lengths to ensure that all of our trace elements are of the highest quality. Our zinc sulfate monohydrate, for example, has one of the lowest lead levels of any product on the market. A soluble, free-flowing source of zinc, suitable for all zinc-deficient crops. Zinc governs leaf size, so it is critical for photosynthesis and it is absolutely essential for a healthy soil food web.
YLAD Living Soils provides a soil testing and recommendation service. For a free soil testing kit contact YLAD Living Soils. The Soil Tests are conducted by The environmental Analysis Laboratory, Southern Cross University, Lismore. Test also includes La Motte/Reams test, measures the amount of immediately available plant food and it offers an indication of microbial activity - particularly fungal activity.
Plant Therapy is a comprehensive leaf analysis and nutrition programming service utilising foliar and fertigation recommendations. Plant health is the key to minimal pest and disease pressure. Plant Therapy aids in achieving this critical balance. There are three main factors that have limited the viability of regular leaf analyses.
Healthy soil is full of tiny lifeforms - bacteria, fungi, protozoa, nematodes, arthropods and earthworms. A fun way to determine the biology in your soil is by performing the Soil Your Undies Challenge. This challenge consists of burying a pair of 100% cotton undies beneath your soil and digging them up two months later.
