We provide professional advice and expertise in ecologist and arborist tree surgeon services with a focus on cost effective solutions for clients. Our ecologist and arborist works range from single tree assessments for home owners to development assessments such as construction of the Pacific Highway and residential housing developments and subdivisions.

Services
Based in Northern NSW we provide professional expertise in a range of Arborist and Ecologist services. We work predominantly with private landholders, builders, local councils, State Government agencies, development and planning firms, and fellow environmental consultants. Cost-effective environmental management is at the heart of what we do.
Tree health and safety are primary considerations for tree management in urban areas. Trees are considered hazardous when they have structural defects which make them prone to failure which could cause personal injury or property damage. Tree health, condition and risk assessments are central to our arborist works.
Arborist reports are often required by Councils as part of Development Applications. Michael is an AQF Level 5 qualified consulting arborist (Diploma level). Our reports are prepared to a high standard and in accordance with Australian Standards and Council guidelines. They address relevant development assessment matters and concerns to facilitate approvals, construction and protection of retained trees.
Vegetation assessment reports and management plans are prepared for rehabilitation or restoration of plant communities through measures such as weed management, stock exclusion and revegetation. Tree surveys provide information to guide ongoing tree maintenance and management. Michael has extensive experience in vegetation and tree assessment and management.
Environmental monitoring programs are regularly included as conditions of development consent by councils and other consent authorities. Arbor Ecological develops, implements, evaluates and reports on environmental monitoring programs tailored to individual projects. Our monitoring programs are designed to detect environmental changes, trends and environmental impacts.
