Smitten, as a small brand, wants to support skilled Australian women to keep sewing our clothing. We believe in sustainability and ethics- and are excited to be a part of the Fashion Revolution because we want radical change. Husband and wife team Nicola and Carl had a dream to design lightweight merino wool clothing that was stylish, comfortable and practical, and get it manufactured right here in Tasmania.

All orders are dispatched with Australia Post and require a signature on delivery unless otherwise stated at the time of order.

Please note: Our merino fabric has a unique stretch factor and can adapt enormously from one size to another. Most of the Smitten range is designed to fit the body. If you would prefer a looser fit choose a size larger than recommended in the chart above.

Wonderful products in pure merino, breathable, soft and light. Service is very nice and responsive, perfect advice on sizing.
Shipping to Europe was 2 weeks, but worth waiting for it. We have only mixed textiles in Europe which is a shame and incomparable to pure merinos.

I brought my first item in 2020 and have since changed my whole wardrobe. The breathability and comfort of the fabric which is beautifully and elegantly designed make Smitten products ideal for any occasion. My favourite dresses are Zoe, Mary, Maryanne and Flo, whether Ponte or jersey versions. I am truly a Smitten devotee. The staff give fabulous advice, thanks Alice!!!. Just received my 210 leggings, fleece lounge pants and fleece lined leggings. So comfortable and warm, particularly when working from home. I can't wait to take them camping next month where I will be snuggly and warm. Thanks to Doug for taking the time to explain the different leggings and pants for camping, it made the decision making much easier. The best quality clothes anyone can ever hope for. Sure, they are not Kmart or Target cheap, but boy the value you will attain from these is priceless. Merino wool is the best fabric in the world - it doesn't smell, it's healthy, anti allergenic, temperature regulating, etc! They also last forever if taken care of properly. Instead of buying 5 different shirts/dresses, have a couple of styles from Smitten and you will realise a couple of shirts or dresses is all you need for everyday wear.
Plus, it is Australian made. Got to love supporting Aussies - especially when the world's best quality material
