Stratford On The River Tourist Park
Base yourself with us & enjoy staying in a quiet tranquil park and take the opportunity to explore the Gippsland Region. As a starting point to visit the Gippsland Lakes, investigate the nearby Victorian alpine high country, Ninety Mile Beach, cycle the Gippsland Rail Trail or even just as a convenient stop off on the way to or from Melbourne, we welcome all visitors to our Tourist Park.

The amenities are immaculately clean, heated and enhanced by a well- appointed camp-kitchen complete with television, microwave, fridge and heater which adds warmth in the cooler evenings and laundry facilities. The undercover barbecue and eating area together with a number of open fireplaces make wonderful meeting areas and a playground for younger children is sited close at hand.
Services
Sit back on the fully enclosed balcony over - looking the Avon River, relax, un-wind and enjoy the sunset at the end of the day. A full -size dining and lounge area with a smart TV, split system for heating/cooling and the added luxury of an energy efficient gas fire- place to add warmth to your stay over the cooler times of year or on a brisk summer evening.
With a balcony over-looking the Avon River and the delight of being able to sit outside and enjoy the view of the sun-setting & enjoy a cool breeze on a hot afternoon our Deluxe Cabin offers you the perfect reason to sit down and relax at the end of the day. If you are fortunate enough on a warm sunny day you may see one of the many Gippsland Water Dragons which breed along the riverbank.
Our en-suite cabins have a studio lay-out and offer an excellent standard of accommodation for those on a budget. An excellent option for those working in the area or wanting an overnight stop on a long trip. These cabins are fully self-contained with reverse cycle air-conditioning, colour TV, fridge, external balcony & outdoor setting, microwave oven, two burner gas cook-top, all cooking equipment, crockery, utensils, etc.
I would really like it if you came to stay but please tell your humans that you must follow the guidelines below. You must to be on leash and on your best behavior at all times. Your droppings must be picked up immediately, wrapped in plastic before disposal in a rubbish bin (my humans have placed complimentary bag dispensers around the park).

This is a nice little caravan park, well located right in town, close to the main road and on the banks of the river. Some of the sites are a little small, but relatively easy to get on to. Great facilities, and a great playground for the kids. Louise was very responsive to emails and calls and very friendly. If you’re in the area, it’s a good place to stop. However, I must caution that their COVID safe policy is not only strict, but heavily policed. They have QR codes everywhere, even in the toilets! We had a mechanic stop in for just a few minutes to have a quick look at our caravan tyres

Have stayed here several times. Wonderful park very well maintained. Best neat and clean facilities we have encountered on our travels. Top people. Great location beside the river and virtually in town.

Lovely small caravan park with caring owners and customers who willingly helped me on my trial run with a "new-to-me" camper trailer.
Facilities were spotless and provided all the necessities for a relaxing break.
The traffic noise from the highway was at first noticable but eventually became "white noise" and was not a distraction.

Great customer service, friendly staff. Perfect place for kids and families with all facilities available. Clean and tidy amenities "toilets, kitchen, laundry and bbq". Beautiful river within few minutes of walk and a swimming pool available to people who stays overnight. Suits all budgets whether you want to stay in cabin, have caravan or would like to camp in a tent. Highly recommended for families and seniors.
