I was happy with the service from the mechanic and they were able to fit me in quickly which I appreciated. As a single parent I rely on my car so was greatful.
However, I had the same work done at another mechanic and as you can see from the cost at the other mechanic, for the same job and parts, was cheaper.
$250 cheaper.
When I got the bill I thought it was high and was quite shocked. I spent some time looking at it. I knew I had paid less for the same job at the other mechanic. The other mechanic had 3 months warranty as well, there was no warranty here.
That's alot of money to me, especially

Sam is a great mechanic. He managed to diagnose my master error warning on the dashboard and repair my Volvo S60 T5 master break cylinder- a very difficult job due to the age of vehicle (scarcity of spare parts in Australia) and advanced electronics.
Now the car handles wet road conditions even better than when I first bought it :) I am very happy with the service, I highly recommend BJ Automotive mechanical services !

Went in to get my AC fixed - I had a suspicion it was the cable for the turn dial that needed replacing. Mechanic was honest enough to show me the compressor was working (which I was aware of). Was assured I would receive a call prior to repairs being done and of the estimated cost. Instead received a call that the issues had been fixed and I owed him $120. Initially thought this was reasonable, however I learnt later that no cables had been replaced - the existing one just re-attached/repaired. I was advised to turn the dial 'slowly' in future. Pretty disappointing that for $120, my car was held

I absolutely loved my service, got many things fixed as I've had the car for 7 years that have never been addressed and it's never driven better.
Would recommend 10/10 absolutely loved his work. Better then the major car company's that charge an arm and a leg to do nothing and this amazing company charges less to go above and beyond so impressed !!!!
