Bou's For Men Barber Shop is owned and operated by experienced hairdresser and former IHS Australian Hairdressing judge Yvonne Bou-Samra. With a career spanning over 40 years as a hair stylist, Yvonne opened her first hairdressing salon in 1976. A new addition to the business is professionally trained barber Simon Bou-Samra.

$50.85 for a 15 minute cut at West End??? Absolutely ridiculous. And no, didn’t include a wash!! What a joke. Used pay $35 at the city one. Never again.

We recommend this Barber to our relatives that are visiting from Sydney, so we know what they used to charge. Unfortunately my nephew and 9 year old son didn’t know and were not told the pricing. $173 later,… they couldn’t believe that one adult and one child’s haircut could possibly be right. The Brisbane or Sydney family will not be returning.

I took my children to have their hair cut, which was fine and went well. However, the banter from an employee was disgusting and appalling. Mocking of an Asian accent and of nail salon workers.
I will not support a store that harbours racists and will not be returning.

Came thru late Saturday Apr 17 but the gentleman barrister did not have any of the coffee making abilities of the ladies during the weekday. Maybe there is some room to upskill here as the company is very high standard 💛

Highly recommend the funky hole in the wall accompanying cafe to the barber shop. This place is always pumping every morning with people lining up to get their coffee fix. Such a relaxing vibe and great place to read the morning paper on the boardwalk. Always something new and yummy to try in the food display and staff are always friendly.

Very expansive for the service they offer. Staff are pretty friendly tho and quality is good. Been refused a few of times now because it's to close to their closing time (20 mins) when it's dead empty (my hair takes 10mins 15 max to cut). If you are going to ask for a large amount of money for a hair cut you better be able to provide the service and not refuse someone in your trading hours because you want to go home early.
They need to put more effort into the customer, it doesn't feel good to be rejected service inside business hours, at least buy a "Closed" sign and hang it up if you are no

Normally I would recommend but for the following reasons: 1. No updated hours posted at the salon in Clifford Gardens 2. Called today and inquired as to the opening hours - was told close at 4.00 pm, went there at 3.30 pm to find it closed, as it was last night. 3. Not open Thurs night which is a very busy time. I understand that COVID-19 is casing… many changes but they have been particularly badly managed. This is not the service I have experienced over the past thirty years of patronage, and I hope that consideration is given to addressing these points. regards

Best Barber shop I have been to. My boy's always ask if they can get their haircut here. Shop has a great feel, staff are always friendly and really know what they are doing. Clean, modern, minimal wait times.

Recently received I cut and beard trim for bous Hamilton, I'd had a hectic week and felt welcomed when I arrived.
Shop was clean and inviting, quick breakfast was spot on.
The barber listened to what I wanted and gave me a excellent and fast cut.
It's worth noting the chairs extend at this store, so you don't have to snap your head back like a laughing kookaburra to get you beard trimmed.
Best barbar experience I have had in years.

Easily one of the best haircuts I've gotten, walked in on smoko for work, the gentleman there Cal if I remember correctly was friendly, picked my existing cut and clipper length (even though I was well overdue for a cut) and I left feeling and looking amazing. Very impressed!
