I stayed here with my two little girls (2 and 4) on the way back from Adelaide - and it was gorgeous. It's just like going to stay at your grandma's house out in the country or something - a gorgeous old-style house which looks to have been built in the 1900s, but with all the mod cons and updates that are needed.
The house was lovely and warm for us (it was a cold and windy day) when we arrived, and we loved being able to put on the log fire, wash and dry out clothes in the laundry, and it was a godsend having a box of toys for the girls to play with that wasn't their own!

We had a fantastic time at Dunalan Cottage. It was so peaceful and a great spot to stop on the way to Melbourne. Our dogs loved the space and smells! it was great that they are allowed inside the cottage. The hosts are lovely and welcoming. We were able to freely use the grounds and we were provided with delicious home made goods and fresh breakfast items. Our son enjoyed feeding the chickens and meeting the friendly farm dogs and cat. The surrounding area provided lots of space for walking and great photo opportunities. We would have loved to have stayed longer and will do next time. Highly recommended
