It's not always easy to 'smile for the camera' when you are a somewhat self-conscious model, but Melinda Hird makes it easy to represent yourself in the best possible light. Melinda was our photographer for the PSA convention 2021 and was the picture of professionalism. This year has turned the events and speaking industry upside down. I had to quickly pivot from live to virtual events. I retained Mel to position me as someone who could be just as impactful online or webinar - as in person.

What a gem! Apart from having an incredible artistic eye for the composition, Mel worked really hard to understand my business so she could create headshots that weren't just me standing there, but ones that I could use in marketing materials, which resonated with specific messages and ideas. She is so lovely, she made the whole process simple and easy for a rookie model like me - which meant I could relax into the shoot and get some really natural looking photos. And best of all, she was so generous with her time and number of images she gave me, my biggest problem now is narrowing down my faves
