Yaktek Industries
Rob Wallace (an Engineer and Businessman) started the business over 30 years ago, and in 2017, transferred ownership to The MBP Group (incorporating MBP Australasia Pty Ltd and Yaktek Industries). The Yaktek products are still proudly manufactured in Australia by the MBP Australasia team at our factory in South Australia.

Sales continue to grow both in Australia and Internationally, and we are pleased to announce that we now have distributors in UK and India. Fortunately, the YAKTEK operation, located within the MBP Australasia factory, is big enough to handle the increased production. YAKTEK products are shipped direct from our MBP factory using our contracted freight companies.
Services
Made in Australia, YAKTEK gauges use corrosion-free, sturdy materials to perform reliably in exposed conditions, year in year out. Aluminium diecastings, stainless steel axles, circlips, screws and washers. Marine grade Delrin pulleys and bushes. No plastic, paint, plating, or powder coating to peel off.
This floating pole type water level gauge with a larger red-orange ball indicator protruding above the tank roof, is the choice for many tank owners. It is ideal for "cup and saucer" trough tanks and many rural property applications. High above the tank the Hi-Viz level indicator can be seen from far away, in every direction 3 dimensionally.
Simple pulley and counterweight system with free hanging indicator beside the tank. Australia's most popular gauge - since its birth in 1985, more than 80,000 Levetators continue to faithfully indicate water level on all types of tanks throughout the world. The bright aluminium indicator with its red band can be seen from afar, more than 100 meters.
Originally developed in response to customer requests for an indicator suitable for liquid fertiliser and other chemical tanks. Many tank owners prefer it for water tanks too. Little wonder that the Liquidator is now our most popular product. Operating on the same principle as the Levetator The Liquidator uses a vertical guide tube.
Yes, but being a relatively heavy aluminium diecasting, the indicator doesn't move all that much, and in 99% of cases there is no problem. If the site is particularly exposed to high winds a wind guard made of 90mm or 4 slotted PVC stormwater pipe or a sheet metal channel is effective. Better still, use a Liquidator instead - the indicator is captive on the pipe and unaffected by wind.
