Thanks Rod for the great service today and the excellent encouragement for us to try stand up paddle boarding. We came and did what we planned and that was to try it out. A lot more practice is needed or maybe a new water sport choice. It was a great day on the water whatever the result. My boyfriend caught this 65cm flathead yesterday on a full pilchard out from indented head.thanks to beachlea boat hire.

I've been to Beachlea boat hire 5 times now and had a great time every single one. Rod gives advice about what's biting and where, instructions on how to operate the boat and safety, where to avoid the rocks (close to shore) and he also sells bait. You don't need a boat licence and he expertly fillets your fish when you return......much to the waiting pelicans delight! Rod is polite, relaxed and welcoming.
Apart from the fish you may also come across seals, dolphins, seabirds and even whales. The bay is well protected weather wise, super relaxing and still in phone reception if trouble arises

The staff was extremely rude to us because we went to the wrong direction. He took the boat back immediately and charged us 20 dollars. He was yelling to us with f* many times.When i asked him if anything was broken, he denied.And he commented my friend said that we broke his propeller which is not true.

The owner was very nice and helpful but unfortunately the website was very misleading. Our friends and I travelled 1 hour to enjoy the glass bottom canoeing thinking that they have the see through canoes as according to the website. When we got there, we were very disappointed because the canoes that were advertised as "glass bottom" only had a small round circle on the bottom of the canoe that was not even see through. We still enjoyed the paddle boarding around the shipwreck, but we probably wouldnt come back for this when we could've enjoy it somewhere else for a cheaper price.
