Services
Ciao Cafe & Cakes provides catering and delivery service for Queanbeyan, Canberra and surrounding regions. Well experienced in catering for numerous private and corporate functions, Ciao's in house bakery is capable of meeting most dietary requirements. Please discuss with our catering specialist at the time of placing your order.
To avoid disappointment, we recommend a minimum 7 days notice for all custom cakes. However, we understand that life gets busy, so please don't hesitate to enquire about last minute orders! Send your custom made cake order to [email protected] Please include the following details name, pick up store, contact number, preferred cake, serving size, time & date of pick up, example pictures, please allow 24-48 hours for response.
All of our cakes are hand crafted from scratch, designed just how you like it. We bake fresh, daily and on premises, using only the highest quality ingredients to create a stunning custom cake that will be the talking point of your next event. Our friendly team will work with you to model your cake to suit your taste buds, eye and budget.

Very rude service.
Ordered & paid for a Black Forrest cake. Waited around for 20 minute, until a guy eventually came out and says "oh sorry, we don't have a Black Forrest cake, but you can have a Ciao Cake instead". That's fine, it might have been a busy morning, no problems.
Waited around some more while he packs it up. Hands it to me and says "that'll be $7 extra". Blamed me for not pre-ordering, and accused me of swearing at him (I definitely didn't) when I said I'd just pay the $7 extra because I'm running late anyway.

Ordered the tiramisu cake for a birthday party, it was amazing and everyone loved it. Not too sweet, good amount of rum and delicious. Would love to give 5 stars if not for communication between staffs. When i placed my order to be collected on Sunday, no one told me they close at 5pm. They agreed to the stipulated time of 445-5pm. On the collection day, a staff called me at 430 asking if i can come ASAP as they’re already closed. I had to rush down in peak hour and i was very thankful to the staff lady who waited for me. Desperately wanted to give 5 stars. Very nice atmosphere. Not too loud although full of kids at 10 am. Great food and mouthwatering displays. Would love to come again to give another chance.

Absolutely amazing cafe in Brandon We stumbled across this fabulous cafe with such homely and friendly staff we were welcomed and made feel like we were old friends. Highly recommend. Fabulous food. Brekky was a hit and pizzas and lasagna was fabulous. When we return to ACT we will definitely be back. Thankyou so much.

I ordered a custom ironman cake and requested them to put a real light in front of it as Iron Man's heart. When the cake is out, my little dude is very happy and excited to see his favourite character turned into a cake. Ciao team took every care in delivering this cake with a great taste packed inside. Worth every dollar spent. Thanks Harsh for your commitment and passion. This is a hidden gem in Canberra!
