When we prepare a personal financial plan, we understand that every client is unique and we will tailor this to your personal circumstances taking into account all of the issues which are important to you. For the majority of clients we also provide ongoing advice as there will inevitably be changes in personal circumstances, government policy, and the economic environment and investment markets that affect your long term financial strategy.
We have structured our business, services and fee structure to ensure that our abilities and interests are fully aligned to helping you achieve your financial objectives over the long term. We represent a financial services business model of the future free of any of the legacy issues that have traditionally been associated with the industry.
Main Street Financial Solutions works on a fee for service basis, and we do not seek or retain any commission or any other form of renumeration from fund managers, investment suppliers or investment platform providers (other than personal insurance - please see below). Our advisers are not required to promote any particular investments or products from any provider.
Rebecca Fergusson is a Certified Financial Planner with a strong background in accounting (Certified Practising Accountant). Rebecca has been providing strategic financial planning advice to private clients, business owners and charitable foundations for over 20 years. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Tasmania and is also a Certified Practicing Accountant (Financial Planning Specialist).
Michael represents the future of financial planning in Australia being highly qualified, motivated and focused on delivering best practice outcomes for the clients of Main Street. Michael is well qualified having completed a Bachelor of Business, Master of Financial Planning degree, Self-Managed Super Fund course and is a Certified Financial Planner and Life Risk Specialist.

My wife and I first met with Main Street Financial Services as part of my transition to retirement three years ago, and in addition to their advice for me to continue with my current transition strategies, they also provided excellent advice for a better investment option for our savings. As part of my Bachelor of Commerce studies I was lucky enough to secure a corporate placement as part of my University studies with Main Street Financial Solutions. For me having come from Hong Kong to study, and never having worked in a professional office before it was an incredible experience.
